Bo Berndtsson and Nessim Sibony have been awarded the 2017 Stefan Bergman Prize for their many fundamental contributions to several complex variables, complex potential theory, and complex geometry. Bo Berndtsson was elected to the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences in 2003, he received the Edlund Prize of the Royal Academy of Science in 1987 and the Göran Gustafsson Prize in 1995. Bo Berndtsson invaldes i Kungl. Vetenskapsakademien 2003, han mottog det Edlundska priset av Kungl. Vetenskapsakademien 1987 och Göran Gustafsson-priset 1995.

As other applications, we give affirmative answer to a question by Ohsawa about limiting case for the extension operators between the weighted Bergman spaces, and we present a relation of our result to Berndtsson’s important result on log-plurisubharmonicity of the Bergman kernel.
